» REGISTRATION EXTENDED TO 9/24: Caffè Umbria Offers Espresso Tasting Courses in Collaboration with the International Institute of Coffee Tasters
We are pleased to announce our upcoming collaboration with the Istituto Internazionale Assaggiatori Caffè (International Institute of Coffee Tasters) to provide courses designed to teach how to evaluate the quality of Italian espresso. The IIAC is a non-profit association, founded with the intent of developing and implementing a scientific method to give a measurable value to the sensory value of coffee. This is the first time these courses will be offered in the United States, and are a great opportunity to bring your espresso knowledge to the next level.
The courses will be taught by Carlo Odello, trainer, board member and the Director of Communication for the International Institute of Coffee Tasters (IIAC). Mr. Odello is also the Communications Manager for the Italian Espresso National Institute and a board member of the Taster Study Center, the most advanced Italian company in sensory analysis.
